An Absence Of Light

The crowd had fallen silent, almost as soon as the two of them had taken the stage, now it seemed to Scarlet that she could have heard a pin drop way over by the main bar.

She looked over at Steven, raising an inquisitive eyebrow and Exile began to sing Kiss You All Over. Scarlet moved up to her new partner, slowly smoothing her hands down the nervous woman's sides, over her hips, then around behind her, to cup her buttocks.

The crowd drew in an anticipatory communal breath and the woman took an involuntary step forwards, which only served to bring her closer to Scarlet. Scarlet took advantage of the woman's confusion, pulling her even closer, squashing their breasts together.
